How activation works

  1. License code, link to the activation website and instructions arrive by email.
  2. Switch on the e-bike and enable Bluetooth on your Android smartphone or Windows PC/laptop.
  3. Open the website and connect to the e-bike via Bluetooth.
  4. Enter the license code and activate. You can also restore the original setting here.

What you need

Bluetooth on the bikeTest: if it pairs with the E-TUBE app, it has Bluetooth.
Android or WindowsiPhone, iPad and Mac are not supported.

Does it fit your vehicle?

All that matters is that your e-bike has Bluetooth. All Shimano motors are supported, for example:

No Bluetooth? Retrofit the Shimano adapter EW-EN100. After that, activation works like on any other bike.
Important during activation: Close the E-TUBE app on all devices first. Keep the website open and in the foreground until the end, the e-bike switched on and the internet connection stable. If it stops, restart until it has fully completed.
